It leaves Sharp’s coat looking so glossy, shiny and clean, which helps keep the mud at bay 2.Here’s a little tip – I always use this on Sharps coat a few days before I clip him as it keeps the grease at bay and leaves a nice smooth finish when clipping 3. Sophie is giving Tiger his second clip. He’s quite an itcy horse and after clipping he sometimes come out in a little rash. We find bathing him in Medicated Shampoo stops the rash and him becoming so itchy.

Stop the friction. I’ve been using Carr & Day & Martin mane and tail spray in the horses manes twice a week, I also spray a littleon the inside of the neck cover. It’s a HUGE difference and my horses manes have survived all winter!

After trialling Stainmaster, it has changed my approach to grooming. Lacking a proper wash & easy access to warm water, I avoid washing my horses in the winter. There is nothing worse than having to boil the kettle a hundred times & worse still, having to use cold water to wash down a horse. Howerver, stainmaster does not require rinsing. This is because it can be described as a dry shampoo, which is ideal for removin dirt & manure stains with no need to rinse. IT can also be used to brighten white markings or an on-the-spot cleaner for pre show ring touch ups! I found Stainmaster as effective way of breaking up stubborn stains.

I was gifted Stainmaster for Joys single white sock that is the bane of my life and I’m really impressed! I used it as instructed on the side. I just squirted it on dry, massaged it in (it feels soapy so I wasn’t sure at first), then wiped it off with a damp sponge. Literally took me 3 mins, and I could see it lifting the stain as I was doing it…

First impressions of CDM Dream Coat Conditioning Spray.
I really liked this conditioner. It is advertised as a spray you can use in the saddle area, because itss supposed to create a shine without creating the slick surgace many conditioning sprays can cause, which as anyone who rides knows, can be a real issue. Especially, when you need your horse to shine all over at a show.
I am happy to say the CDM Dream Coat did live up to that advertiseng claim. The saddle did not slip even during canter and she felt secure.
The shine was absolutely beautiful! Definitely show worthy and amazed at how much the coat glowed after this product was applied.

I have been using the Gallop Colour Enhancing Shampoo for Grey horses for almost a year now, and it is an amazing product for many reasons. It creates a beautiful blue/steel tone on Cole’s coat. With just a 5-minute soak and one wash, it quickly removes green, yellow, and orange stains. It is a high-quality shampoo that is thick and concentrated, so it’s effortless to apply directly to the coat. Also, it lathers and washes out easily. It comes in a 500ml bottle which lasts me 2-3 months even in warm, summer weather. Lastly, I love the fact that my nails and cuticles are NOT purple-tinted after bathing. In the past, I felt compelled to wear gloves every time I had to bathe any of my grey horses. Otherwise, my cuticles were an intense purple shade for days. This shampoo leaves no purple or blue residue on your hands after bathing! I urge you to give it a try.

What can we say? This shampoo is our absolute favourite as it’s amazing in more ways than one. When lathered into the coat, it really lifts out all of the dirt and grime. It leaves Dewi’s coat in show condition and the colour enhancers really make his coat pop! It also smells absolutely amazing! Dewi also makes the mares turn their heads when he’s been washed with Gallop shampoo.

But your best hoof forward with Vanner & Prest Hoof Oil

When you open the tin the first thing that hits you is the smell of tea tree. Tea Tree oil is well known for its antibacterial & antifungal properties & is something I always look for in a product. I can be confident that while using the oil on Giselle’s hooves there is added protection against any potential bacterial nasties, especially during winter months. – It is long lasting. One thing I look for after applying a hoof oil or balm is whether the hoof looks hydrated the next day. This is always my first test and I am happy to say that 24hours after application you can still see that the hoof is hydrated. – Finally, the addition of an internal brush makes application super clean and easy. One thing I really do not like is having seperate hoof oil brushes! – The oil is translucent which makes it suitable for all hoof colours. It leaves a high shine finish & is suitable for every day use or a quick lick before entering the show ring. – It would be easy for me to pull G’s shoes & forget about her until her foal arrives. However, I have learned that the metabolic changes & pysical stresses of pregnancy can make broodmares more prone to hoof issues. That is why proper care & husbandry is still very important to me in maintaining Gisells’s hoof health especially while carrying the extra weight of a rapidly growing foal! – It’s also worth noting the tin took a hammering from Luca & held strong against his many attempts to bust it open – a win for the tin. – So, a lick of CDM Tea Tree Hoof Oil every other day helps to keep hoof issues away.
